TÜBİTAK 1002-A Project, Led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Muzaffer ARIKAN
The TUBITAK 1002-A project titled "Investigation of the Relationship Between Cry Toxin Efficacy and Gut Microbiota in the Asian Tiger Mosquito", led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Muzaffer ARIKAN from the Department of Biology, Division of Biotechnology, has been awarded funding. The project team includes Prof. Dr. Mahmut ÇALIŞKAN, Research Assistants Nalan TAVŞANLI and Ahmet Arıhan ERÖZDEN from the Division of Biotechnology, along with Dr. Research Assistant Gökhan GÜN from Boğaziçi University.
The project aims to investigate the relationship between the gut microbiota of mosquitoes and the effectiveness of biological control agents.
